Filter the Noise
Conceptual Image Stamp Sheet

Illustration • Typography

Target Audience: Viewers interested in conceptual design, social commentary, and contemporary visual culture, particularly those engaged with conversations around media consumption

Goal: To create a visually striking and conceptually cohesive stamp series that communicates the overwhelming nature of media and encourages viewers to reflect on how they process information.

This conceptual stamp collection explores the theme “Filter the Noise,” using visual fragmentation and repetition to comment on media saturation and perception. The design breaks apart facial features—eyes, mouths, and surrounding elements—into isolated compositions, reflecting how information is consumed in disjointed and overwhelming ways. Bright, contrasting colors and bold graphic forms create a sense of visual intensity, while the repeated stamp format reinforces ideas of mass production and constant exposure. As seen in the stamp sheet , the grid layout and recurring “FOREVER USA 2025” text further emphasize the persistence and ubiquity of media in everyday life. The project was created in Adobe Illustrator, combining illustration and layout to form a cohesive system that is both visually engaging and conceptually driven.

Challenge:  One of the main challenges was maintaining a cohesive visual system while working with fragmented and abstract imagery. It was important to balance bold, high-contrast visuals with clear conceptual intent so the message remained readable. Additionally, the repetition of the stamp format needed to feel intentional and engaging rather than overly redundant.

Enamel Pins
Companion Piece

Significance:  The companion enamel pins extend the stamp designs into small, collectible objects that isolate key elements from the composition, such as the eye and the snake emerging from the mouth. By breaking the imagery into individual pieces, the pins reinforce the theme of fragmentation while allowing each symbol to stand on its own. They function as both wearable design and conceptual extensions of the project, making the message more personal, interactive, and easily shareable.
